Setting up calls in the Phone Link
With the Phone Link, you can make and receive calls from your Android device on your PC.
The Phone Link needs to be connected to your Android device over Bluetooth to make and receive calls on your PC.
To use calls in the Phone Link, you'll need:
On your Windows 10 May 2019 updated PC:

To check and update your Windows version, go to Settings > Updates & Security > Check for updates.

To confirm you are updated to Windows 10 May 2019 Update or later, on your PC go to Settings > System > About and check your version number under Windows specifications.

A PC with Bluetooth support.

An Android device running Android 10 or greater.
On your Windows 11:

To check and update your Windows version, go to Settings > Windows Update > Check for updates.

To confirm you are updated to Windows 11, go to Settings > System > About and Check your version number under Windows specifications.

A PC with Bluetooth support.

An Android device running Android 10 or greater.
If outdated, update before proceeding
We’ll try to initiate the connection for you automatically. If we’re able to find your devices, you’ll be prompted to allow app permissions, phone discoverability, and confirm that the PIN on your Android device is the same as the one shown on your PC. If you don't receive any prompts, try the steps below.
On your PC

Open the Phone Link and select Calls.

Select Get Started.

Follow the instructions on your PC.
On your Android device

A popup should appear on your device. Select Allow. You should now be connected for Calls.
If you choose not set up calls when you first set up the Phone Link, you can always turn it on in the Phone Link settings. Go to Settings >Features > Calls, turn on the toggle for Allow this app to make and manage calls from my phone.
Note: As part of the Windows May 2020 update, calling is supported on PCs with “Windows on ARM” processors.
Phone Link allows you to take and make calls with your iPhone®, but from your PC. This requires your iPhone® to be connected to your PC via Bluetooth.
To use calls in the Phone Link , you'll need:

Make sure your PC has Bluetooth support before moving forward.

Phone Link requires Windows 11 or 10 May 2019 Update. To see what version of Windows you have:

Go to Settings > System > About.

Under Windows Specifications is your version number.

To check and update Windows 10: Go to Settings > Updates & Security > Check for Updates.

To check and update Windows 11: Go to Settings > Windows Update > Check for Updates.

On Your iPhone®:
Phone Link is only compatible with iPhones® running iOS 15 and above.
Permissions must be enabled in order for Phone Link to make and take calls.

Go to Settings > Bluetooth.

Find your PC’s name in the device list.

Select Enable Sync Contacts.
