Automate workflows in a library
What it does
AI in SharePoint can help automate actions in a SharePoint document library by using information derived from file content.
This allows workflows to use file content as part of their conditions or actions.
How to use it

Go to the SharePoint document library where you want to automate actions.

Open AI in SharePoint using the floating button.

Use AI in SharePoint to help create or populate columns based on file content.

Use those columns when setting up rules or workflows in the library.

Save and apply the workflow.
What to expect

Automation is based on metadata available in the library.

AI in SharePoint doesn’t run workflows by itself.

Files are not moved, renamed, or deleted unless a workflow is configured to do so.

Existing permissions and access controls continue to apply.
