This article is for people who use a screen reader program such as Windows Narrator, JAWS, or NVDA with Windows tools or features and Microsoft 365 products. This article is part of the Accessibility help & learning content set where you can find more accessibility information on our apps. For general help, visit Microsoft Support.
Note: To learn more about screen readers, go to How screen readers work with Microsoft 365.
Copilot Vision lets you use your voice to interact with content in apps and browser windows. Copilot Vision uses voice responses and visual highlights to guide you, but it doesn't interact with the content on your screen on your behalf.
Use the Copilot Vision with a screen reader to explore content in the apps opened on your desktop. You will learn how to start a Copilot Vision session, ask questions about what's on the screen, and hear guidance through voice responses.
Notes:
-
Make sure you are signed in with your personal Microsoft account. Copilot Vision doesn't support work or school accounts.
-
If you're using Narrator, press the Control key to pause speech when Copilot Vision begins speaking.
